Artattack was an independent TV program, initiated and created by irit garty, isaac layish, effi & amir .It was broadcast on all local TV channels (on cable and satellite) and constituted a platform for exhibition and discussion of diverse forms of moving image art. The project was derived from two principal motivations; the first, to take responsibility as artists who create their own space of exhibition, standards, contents, community, and choose a broader audience. The second, to suggest another model of art and of television: high quality but yet accessible and communicative. The video is a kind of a manifest made on the occasion of artattack’s 1st birthday.
