4 Minutes Exhibition
Liraz Pank
Simple, direct photography that stretches the extremes of reality to the borders of the absurd. An attempt at abolishing borders, while producing a new and open territory. Various locations all over the world, in each of which the same activity is taking place, a collection of the visible. There is no distinction between nationalities and countries, the pictures are similar in all of the places, the identities, the scenery and the city are all obliterated.
A network is created and redefined according to the photographer’s directives. The photographs exist everywhere and nowhere. Identity becomes a marginal essence. Its entirety is neither chronological nor linear. This is a collection from which a different narrative can be built and dismantled every time.
Curators: Galit Eilat, Eyal Danon
Opening Date: 06.12.03 | 20:00
Duration: 06.12.03 - 28.02.04
Programming: Mosh Kainer
