Identity_Identify is a photography project by artist Dafna Shalom in Jessy Cohen neighborhood in Holon. As part of the project, a photo studio has been opened in the neighborhood, where old photographs are scanned and studio portraits are taken. The studio invites varied interactions that allow the process and development of a photographic vocabulary.
Starting March 20th, initial photographs will be exhibited in the Center’s branch in Jessy Cohen, 3 Hatanaim St. Jessy Cohen, Holon. Opening hours of the gallery: Mon & Tue 16:00-20:00; Fri 10:00-14:00.
On Monday, May 21st at 19:00, a special event exposing first works from the project will take place at the this exhibition.
