Aharon Ozery’s work is made of metal, engine aluminum, and fans. Diagonal arms stretch forth from the metal pedestals which stand on the floor in two groups. These arms end with fans, which take their place side by side in circular form, rotating one after the other to generate constant motion. The circular form recurs in Ozery’s oeuvre—a full, purposeful cyclical movement, functionless and never-ending, around an invisible point. Ozery’s works are typified by clean beauty and impressive presence. They oscillate on the axis between the natural and the artificial, the technological and the mythical.
