First, you sketch a permanent mark at a fixed radius from the center—the Kirya tower, dubbed Marganith. Then, you shoot at the center, the protruding upright tower, from those reference points, from that fixed radius. As the tower and what it stands for dominate our lives, watching over us, projecting their power and influence onto us, the young artist Tzion Abraham Hazan chose to look back at them. He observes and spins one of Israel’s symbols of might—living proof that visibility promises nothing but appearance—causing it to dance. The tower in the heart of the Kirya in the heart of Tel Aviv in the heart of the densely populated Dan metropolis is a (protruding) reminder that the argument "We were forced to strike civilians because they were shielding warriors" can backfire; and we have not yet said a word about the impact on such things as urban fabric, environmental development, civilian life, budget priorities….
