Artist Krzysztof Żwirblis, a member of the artists group Akademia Ruchu, will talk about the street actions of Akademia Ruchu in the 70ties., the 80ties. and beginning of the 90ties..
He will present the political context of these activities, highlighting the adequacy of activity of AR (on a border between visual arts and theatre) and contemporary art language to the restrictions in the use of public space in communist Poland. He will talk about different kinds of actions and their origins and how they influenced my present activity. As an illustration, he will present documentary films and photographs of these actions. Then he shall describe his present social and artistic multiday actions eg. “Low-cost TV” and “Social Museum” .
Finally the audience will be invited for walk-workshop in the Center's area in order to design the form and place of a future action with its inhabitants.
