Jon Mikel Euba resorts to both image and text in his works based on video, drawings, and words in order to construct ambiguous narratives and to stage incidents or mysterious situations, in which landscape attracts recurring fragmented actions, transformed by infinite repetition into abstract icons. Starting from the editing of images from his personal archive, film stills, sentences and found passages, he generates a new cinematic text, a new structure that transcends such informational units to describe new modes of behaviour.
