De Boer’s Governmental Agency for Future Organization and Planning, S.T.O.P., supports the Dutch government with empirical research into social cohabitation. The objective of S.T.O.P. is to approach social problems from alternative, more constructive points of view. Jetske de Boer studied at the Art Academy of Groningen and the Piet Zwart Institute in Rotterdam, among other places. De Boer displays a penchant for the situationist dérive, for the generally unnoticed, unloved places in the city.
Guided tours will be led by de Boer around the old city center of Holon. Guided tours are given about imaginary systems existing in neighbourhoods, but like the situationists Jetske does little with the people themselves and instead takes them on imaginary tours of their cities.
