Sand is a performance that combines choir music and animation. The work correlates to israeli songs about sand and the myth of bringing life to the Israeli wilderness. The work was inspired by the Egyptian-born Jewish philosopher Edmond Javes. ‘Sand’ deals in the culture and reality of Israeli life today.
