The Israeli Center for Digital Art, Holon is taking part in the thirteenth Biennale for Young Artists from Europe and the Mediterranean, in Bari, Italy (May 22 – June 1, 2008). This marks the second time the Israeli Center for Digital Art has been invited by the organizers to participate in the event, with the previous biennale taking place in Napole, Italy. The Biennale in Bari features 700 artists from 25 countries and from all fields of the creative arts – modern dance, music, design, film, literature and theatre. Participating artists include: Yanai Toister is exhibiting photographs of solitary homes in the Settlements. Yossi Atia and Itamar Rose will be showing short satirical films that deal with Israeli society. Anna Yam has three prints of landscape and figuratice photography. Yochai Matos’s video work, ”Fame” deals with the space between art and the street. Maya Pasternak presents ’Le Bureau Des Questions,’ an installation which asks audiences to provide questions for Israel.
