we invites you to the mid-project event of The Complete Jessy Cohen Museum

Wednesday, July 20

The Complete Jessy Cohen museum is a project by artists Effi and Amir, who are in a six-month residency at the Digital Art Center since April. It is a museum of a place, built by neighborhood residents in an attempt to capture the “place” in its broadest meaning, beyond the concrete-geographical one.

The project involved joint reflection and planning by Effi and Amir and a group of neighborhood residents, on both the museum design and its contents. It ranges between studies on various subjects related to Jessy Cohen’s past and present and the creation of exhibits together with various populations.

Prior to the tour, artist Rona Yefman will conduct a staged photography session to reconstruct old photographs together with neighborhood residents. The session will be held at 17:00 at Jessy Cohen Commercial Center on the corner of Ha'Tanaim and Ha'Amoraim streets, Holon.
