Conceived and directed by Daniel Landau ‘ONE DIMENSIONAL MAN’ is a unique stage production brining an inventive use of video, movement and music to live performance. Using life-size video puppets to portray a world of emotionally challenged characters, ‘ONE DIMENSIONAL MAN’ is a contemporary mythology of man told in a humorous and engaging theatrical setting.
Somewhere in a suburban utopia, an emotionally challenged family is about to face its greatest challenge ever. A peculiar creature made of undefined human tissue unexpectedly appears in their house feeling way-to-comfortably at home.
The peculiar creature increasingly gets in the family’s way, especially as it grows bigger and smellier. Little Lora wants to keep it. George is afraid the creature will get in the way between him and his daughter. Vera is fed-up cleaning after it all day, and granddad-Felix believes it’s the devil - coming to take him away… As they get to accept the creature’s presence in their life, each character is confronted with its sets of beliefs and values, embarking on a journey of revelation and transformation.
