The KABOOM Process - Temporary Compositions

The “Art Force 1” project invites artists to take part in an examination of the terms “propaganda” and “psychological warfare” as they relate to the making of art. This project includes the use of a small unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) as an analogous reference to the use various armies make of this vehicle to disperse propaganda posters in order to instill fear, demonstrate force or incite rebellion against local governments.

This project continues Meir Tati’s art work of recent years as he examines charged social-political contexts of Israeli reality and the reality of the world at large while making reference to terrorism and war and using visual imagery of popular culture. These works – performance, installation and video – have been exhibited in various art events in Israel, Italy, Poland, Denmark, Russia, Turkey and Canada
