We are happy to announce the publication of the book The Israeli Center for Digital Art – Agenda, concluding the Center’s activity since its founding in 2001. The book describes the first years of the Center’s operation, which in recent months moved to its new abode at the Jessy Cohen neighborhood, Holon. Its chapters present the perception that evolved in the course of time regarding art’s role in the local social-civil space, and concerning questions of responsibility and commitment, art and community, nation-state relations, etc. The book features key exhibitions staged at the Center over the years, accompanied by images of various artworks presented in these shows. Additionally, it contains a conversation with Galit Eilat, the Center’s founder and former director, and Eyal Danon, its current director, as well as a concluding essay describing the Center’s program and its aspirations for the future.

A launching of the book will be held on Fubruary 16th, 2013ת opening night of the exhibition "We’re not Alone".

Book price: 180 NIS
Special price during the launching night: 150 NIS
