’Untitled’ (Rolling Pin) is a short domestic narrative of self-mutilation. Set in the family’s kitchen, the artist is seen entering the room, sprinkling flour on the kitchen table, then opening his fly and placing his penis on the table. With a rolling pin, he proceeds to flatten it as if it were a piece of dough. When his “penis” – obviously made of play-dough – is flat enough, he takes a set of cookie forms and cuts one star (of David) and one crescent, which he proceeds to lay on a baking pan, ready for the oven.
