Dmitry Vilensky lives and works in St. Petersburg and Berlin. The video works of Vilensky are documentary presentations of everyday life in post-communist Russia today. Through his video interviews, Vilensky introduces the audience to 21st century workers, street artists and anarchist punk rockers alike.

During his residency, Vilensky spent time researching the Kibbutz movement in Israel.
