Aneta Szylak is a curator and art theorist from Poland. She is the co-founder and current director of Wyspa Institute of Art - an intellectual environment for contemporary visual culture - in the former Gdansk Shipyard premises in Poland and Vice-President of the Wyspa Progress Foundation.

During her residency she researched themes of Messianism in Israeli art and culture which lead to the co-curated exhibition, "Chosen" with Galit Eilat.
