The residency program is supported by Mifal Hapais Arts and Culture Council.
The Israeli Center for Digital Art and the City Art Gallery Ljubljana invite Israeli Artists to apply for the residency program of Tobačna 001 cultural center, run by the Museum and Galleries of Ljubljana.
Concurrently, each year a Slovenian artist is invited for a residency at the Israeli Center for Digital Art.
The program’s objective is to provide artists with spaces for both creating and presenting new artworks (The artworks will be exhibited in Tobačna 001 Cultural Center’s gallery). It also aims at introducing the local art scene to the artists.
The program offers:
- a flat and studio in the center of Ljubljana
- financial support for travel costs and production of a new artwork.
Program period – October-November 2017
