In "3053 ST. No. 3, Jaffa" Mor Arkadir and Rona Perry build a tower on a Jaffa rooftop, a mini-settlement symbolizing how Israel takes over the space of the Other, or as Ariel Sharon coined it, creates facts on the ground. The work deals with the gentrification process overtaking Jaffa. 

The work can be found on the screening program, “Re-Constructions” curated by Maya Pasternak and Galit Eilat for the Jerusalem Film Festival, 2009. The program deals with the construction of consciousness in Israeli architectural and textual space, where the violent notion of “burning into the consciousness” of the Palestinian Other has entered media and public discourse, replacing expressions such as “building consciousness” or “constructing consciousness.”
