Tzzazit artists – Eili Levy and Uri Levinson, created and installed the exhibition composed of moving installations – "Meizazim", created by the participant of several workshops that took place during the first year of "Artist in the Community"*.
The track lines, marked +/-, place the power potential accessible to them all. The works and lighting are fed by the same electricity source, from the springy rods through the metal stripes and the electricity wires, sharing the power according to their mechanical needs.
The installation was created to allow all its parts to nest inside it, yet each work is independent and affects the space around it.
During ten months, around 60 residents of Jessy Cohen visited "Tzzazit" studio, at the Center for Digital Art, and participated in a workshop where the created "Meizazim", in a gradual personal learning process, guided by Tazzazit artists. The moving objects are based on 24V engine. All the rest is the participants world.
Levy & Levinson see their part as open listeners to the participants' world, while they open their world to the participants.
