An artist talk with Aya Ben Ron will take place at the Center, presenting her new online exhibition. Ben Ron will show fragments from a series of video works dealing with medical pathologies as well as physical and psychological treatments, and will discuss them.

The exhibition includes 12 works in various lengths and styles representing medical conditions and the relation between treatment and the mechanic control on the body.
The exhibition concludes the artist’s ongoing interest in pain and healing cases, and the professional and social relation to them.

In this series of works, the artist appears as a nurse guiding the patient in his journey and hope for remedy. However, although her tone of voice is calming and anesthetic, the truth reveals as a bitter placebo pill.

The online exhibition is on http://front.ayabenron.com
