Edible Estates is an ongoing initiative by artist Fritz Haeg, that was exhibited this year at the exhibition We’re Not Alone. It creates a series of regional prototype gardens that replace domestic front lawns, and other unused spaces in front of homes, with places for families to grow their own food. The 14 gardens planted thus far have been established in cities across the United States and Europe. The 15th garden (and the first one in Israel) was planted on June 2-3 in Jessy Cohen, Holon, By Fritz Haeg, the building tenants, the Center for Digital Art staff and volunteers.
