A talk with Çağlar Kimyoncu, Artist in residence at the Center.
Kimyoncu will present his project Objection: Israel - a multimedia art project, part of a wider project exploring stories of objection to military service worldwide.
The work involves extensive research, including a large number of interviews with objectors, academics, organisations and artists, culminating in intensive period of improvisation to camera with local actors and resulting in a multi-channel film installation.
In conversation with curator Shiri Shalmy (UK), Çağlar Kimyoncu will discuss his research and production method and present previous work and work in progress from their 3-week residency at the Israeli Center for Digital Art.
