Sun light lays on a painting in my studio and “erases” parts of it. As I stand between the sun and the painting, I cast a shadow that blocks the sun and thus reveals parts of the painting. In the video my shadow can be seen moving across the painting and creating different dynamic forms, like a painting in motion. The result is a reverse effect of light and shadow – the light is blinding and the shadow revealing.
