The video 'I am Simha Sabari' tells the unique story of Simha Sabari, a Jewish Communist of Yemenite origin born in the Yemenite Quarter of Tel Aviv at the beginning of the twentieth century. In the Video Nissim daubes Sabari’s biography through four voices that represent the various aspects of her character. The communist re acts the ideology of Sabari and relates to her vigorous activity within the underground movement during the British Mandate. The girl from the Yemenite Quarter tells the story of her family and her experiences during the Ottoman period in Tel Aviv. The academic describes her professional track which began in her later years when she became a scholar of popular movements in the Middle-Ages in the Muslim world, at the Sorbonne in Paris. The party member tells of her various positions, junior and senior, as well as her hopes and disappointments
