In the framework of the exhibition "The Return Of" we invite you to another sillouette animation workshop, this time for grown-ups, on Monday January 21 at 5:30 pm.
The workshop will be conducted by the animator Edo Amin.
Participants will create a stop-motion animated clip using the classic silhouette technique and their smartphone. They will create the characters using shapes that were cut by the laser CNC machine.
We will learn how to tell an animated story, how to create silhouette animation, what is cut-out, what is stop motion, what is props, and how to continue ourcreation at home.
Long before Walt Disney, Lotte Reiniger created animated films to Cinderella, Aladdin, sleeping beauty and more. She did it by herself, independently, with a technique she herself developed, using paper cutouts and silhouettes. Now we invite you to experience this technique as well.
