As part of the Exhibition "The Return of…" we are happy to invite the Animator Edo Amin to tell the story of Lotte Reiniger, the first animator, on Monday, January 7 at 5:30pm.
Long before Walt Disney, Lotte Reiniger created animated films to Cinderella, Aladdin, sleeping beauty and more. She did it by herself, independently, with a technique she herself developed, using paper cutouts and silhouettes. At the Center we recently started to to experience this technique as well.
