’Accident’ is the documentation of an action which took place on 29.12.06, on Ben Zion Boulevard, Tel Aviv.   14 people organize themselves in a central crossroad to create two simultaneous and symmetrical car/pedestrian accidents. Two cars hit two pedestrians who cross the road one toward the other. The impact on the two pedestrians is synchronized and the form their bodies create on the road is identical. The two drivers are also synchronized and they perform the same choreography. Taking the sound of the impact (body on car's metal hood) as cue,10 Public Movement collaborators that were previously embedded in the area move forward and form a rectangular frame around the arena. One collaborator calls the time every 15 seconds ('15', '30', etc.). When one minute is called, the two pedestrians get up, enter their respective hitting cars, and leave. The collaborators move on.  Public Movement was founded in December 2006 by Omer Krieger and Dana Yahalomi, the latter assumed sole leadership in 2011.
