The video work "Soap Grenade," sees the artist climbing up a sculpure of Anielewicz, washing and soaping its body in slow movements, as if trying to cast off the dust and refresh the heroic myth that it represents. With courage, a sense of humor and with devotion, Marcus handles the memorial project in which heroic figures are flattened out in the process of becoming icons, where two-dimensional characters are at odds with the flesh and blood figures they represent, and with the myth of the lives lead by the those who are deceased.
