In Reconstructions 1952 – 1976, to reconstruct the view of the surroundings the artist had as a child, she looks at the space at different levels corresponding to different stages in her life. Thus she determines four periods of ‘looking’ and explores four segments of the same room (the kitchen). Constant camera movements showing objects in extreme close-up, a perspective alien to the eye, open up a microcosm that remains hidden to the detached observer. b/w, Produced by Galleria del Cavallino, Venice, 1976.
