A handheld projector, sound, and a set of four light boxes are used to generate a room- surrounding performance. The artist, blinded by a white mask, moves the projector in a way that resembles the movement of a handheld camera. The movement of the projector tracks the movement of the projected video that too was shot handheld, thus creating the effect of a flashlight illuminating a reality beyond the walls of the room. The four light icons are reminiscent of the symbols of states neighboring Israel (Lebanon, Syria and Egypt), with the exception of the grinning face, which corrupts the obvious code. The video footage depicts a series of abandoned spaces, all located at peripheral locations of the State of Israel, near all four of its borders. The piece suggests a journey throughout these spaces.
