Guez explores Israel’s complex reality as defined by borders and oppositions between East and West, Israelis and Palestinians, religion, secularism and everyday racism. Tracing the footsteps of his family the artist puts forward a topic which is deeply rooted within the history of Israel — the living together of a multiplicity of ethnic groups sharing the same nationality.
