In a kind of newsroom environment, Marcus Coates is our reporter. Starting with the Black Throated Diver, he lists birds for us, directly followed by an impersonation of each. The work shares in common with Coates’ other works an exploration of the bodily and linguistic relationship between humans and birds, specifically, and other animals in general.
