An eight-year-old lives in a boarding school, but when being asked where she lives, she always gives her parents’ address in return. The piece’s first part is displayed on three screens, and relates to the child’s place of residence. On one of those screens we see her guiding us through the boarding school and its different spaces. On the second screen the place is presented through the photographer’s eyes. The third screen presents a text taken from a booklet published by the Ministry of Education, ”The Guide for Planning, Building and Reconstructing Boarding Schools for Children and Youth.” The piece’s second part presents the child talking about her experiences, using her own language.
