"Oriental Arch" was filmed by Nir Evron in the 7 Arches Hotel located on the Mount of Olives. Built in the early Sixties at the initiative of the Jordanian crown, it was once considered one of the most luxurious hotels in Jerusalem. Today it stands neglected and nearly empty in East Jerusalem.

The video can be found on the screening program, "Open Secrets" curated by Maya Pasternak and Galit Eilat for the Jerusalem Film Festival, 2009. Open secrets are secrets that are known by all but kept behind closed doors and out of the spotlight of public discourse.
