Keren Cytter was born in 1977 in Israel. After studying at the Avni Institute for Art, Tel Aviv, she moved to Amsterdam on a scholarship from De Ateliers.
With textually based video art, her narratives, although extremely fragmented have a tendency to embody the post-modern self awareness of the characters in her films.
In addition to visual arts, Cytter is also a celebrated and published author. |
