Yossi Atia and Itamar Rose were born in 1979, in Israel. Yossi was born in Jerusalem and Itamar, in Tel aviv. They were both students at the Sam Spiegel Film School in Jerusalem and started working as a creative duo during the settlers’ struggle to prevent the disengagement. They went to the Gaza settlements where they satirically documented the battle. Their films combine documentary and satirical materials. Recently their work has been seen at the Israeli Center for Digital Art, Holon, the Centre Pompidou in Paris, and the Kunstverein, Hamburg.
